IT System Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT System Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations of hardware, software, networking, and database systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL database management, network administration, and system troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:1. System Administration:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement security measures to safeguard company data.

2. SQL Database Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL).
• Perform database backup, restoration, and optimization.
• Develop and run SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting.
• Ensure database security and integrity.

3. Networking & Security:

• Configure and manage LAN, WAN, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Monitor network traffic and implement security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with data security and protection policies.

4. Hardware & Software Management:

• Maintain and upgrade desktops, servers, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and update software applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Work with vendors for IT asset procurement and maintenance.

5. IT Support & Documentation:

• Provide technical support to employees.
• Document IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
• Train staff on IT policies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in system administration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases and query writing.
• Proficiency in networking (LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Windows/Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
