IT System Administrator

gistec, a leading provider of GIS solutions and the official distributor of Esri in the UAE, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Networking – LAN/WAN/WiFi, VLANs, switches, Sophos & FortiGate firewalls, IPSec tunnels, monitoring & troubleshooting
• Avaya / PABX telephony systems & connectivity
• Server rack management, patch panels, structured cabling
• Local & Cloud VM provisioning, monitoring, optimization & resource management
• Microsoft 365 – Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
• Email security & spam monitoring
• Access management, permissions & security enforcement
• Backup monitoring, restore management & encryption (BitLocker)
• FTP storage provisioning & management
• IT asset lifecycle – laptops, peripherals, mobile devices
• IT procurement, license renewals, subscriptions & vendor negotiation
• Meeting room & conferencing systems
• Documentation of infrastructure, incidents & processes
• Security awareness communication & compliance enforcement

Qualifications

• CCNA
• Microsoft Security Certification (SC-200, SC-300 or AZ-500)
• Fortinet NSE 4 or Sophos Certified Engineer (Firewall)
