Assistant Manager, Network Administration

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and related systems.
• Install, configure, and manage vSphere 7 ESXi servers, including supporting VMware Horizon VDI and Hyper-V virtual environments.
• Install and configure operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, Office) and other software applications.
• Manage Active Directory (AD), including domain controllers, user and workstation accounts, group policies, and WSUS (Windows Update Services).
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, antivirus software, and other network protection tools to ensure security.
• Design, implement, and maintain network systems using Cisco hardware and software.
• Configure and maintain networking protocols, including routing, switching, and VPN technologies, to maximize network efficiency and security.
• Set up and maintain controlled VPN access for secure remote connectivity.
• Deploy and manage IP phone systems (IPPABX, IP phones).
• Configure and maintain surveillance systems, including NVRs, IP cameras, and NVDs.
• Manage and configure wireless networks and access points (Grandstream, TP-Link).
• Develop and implement recovery and backup plans (SQL, FTP, Veeam, KLS) to ensure data integrity and continuity.
• Perform regular upgrades and maintenance on hardware, operating systems, antivirus software, and network equipment.
• Assist with software upgrades, installations, and patching processes.
• Maintain SQL Server backups to ensure database security and availability.
• Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support for end users locally and remotely.
• Record technical issues and solutions in detailed logs for future reference and analysis.
• Report network status, issues, and solutions to key stakeholders regularly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in system and network administration.
• Proficiency with Cisco switches, VMware vSphere, VMware Horizon VDI, and Fortigate Firewall is preferred.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration, antivirus management, and network security practices.
• Experience in managing and deploying servers, operating systems, and applications.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (NVR, IP cameras, NVD) and IP-based phone systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical teams and end-users.
• Knowledge of DevOps would be a plus point.
