Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for local staff (hardware, software, connectivity, accounts).
- Execute IT tasks and instructions from Group IT leadership, ensuring work is documented and tracked.
- Assist with the rollout of Intune, Autopilot, and modern desktop environments (device setup, patch compliance, troubleshooting).
- Support implementation of Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Duo, encryption policies, and Intune audit policies under direction of Group IT.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting and remediation for Windows 11, Microsoft 365 apps, printers, and networking.
- Support and monitor endpoint protection, email security, and device compliance.
- Perform backup verification tasks and assist with recovery testing using designated tools (e.g., Cove).
- Document incidents, changes, and resolutions in the ticketing/documentation system (Hudu, PSA/RMM).
- Provide clear communication and escalation when issues cannot be resolved locally.
What This Role is Not
- This is not a server administration or IT security architect role.
- The role does not involve designing IT infrastructure or defining security policy – these are owned by Group IT.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2–4 years’ experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and Office 365.
- Familiarity with Intune/Endpoint Manager (enrollment, compliance, patching).
- Good understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
- Ability to follow documented processes and escalate where necessary.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under direction.
- Commitment to security best practices and willingness to operate with least privilege access.
Preferred
- Experience with PSA/RMM tools.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security features (labels, DLP, MFA).
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamenta
