IT SYSTEMS SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for an IT Systems Support Specialist to provide IT support services to task order support personnel. This position will be located in Jeddah, KSA and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for operating systems, workstations, and other Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).

Other duties may include:
Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

Schedule installations and upgrades, and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures

Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels

Ensure workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions

Ensure data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations

Implement and promote standard operating procedures

Conducting hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years experience.

Minimum of four (4) years of direct military experience in associated functional task - OR – ten (10) years of combined military and civilian experience in associated functional task.

Shall be a Saudi national

Posted Salary Range: USD $62,000.00 - USD $77,000.00 /Yr.
