IT Team Lead / Delivery Manager (with QA Integration)

Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Team Lead / Delivery Manager to own delivery coordination, team alignment, and client communication on timelines. This role ensures the IT team works as a connected unit—bridging development, design, QA, and coordination—while enforcing quality standards and documentation discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Management

Set and communicate realistic delivery dates to clients.
Track progress against deadlines and identify/remove blockers.

Team Coordination

Run daily stand-ups.
Facilitate handoffs between backend, frontend, mobile, design, and QA.
Ensure everyone has clear priorities.

QA Integration

Ensure QA is involved during the requirements phase, not just at the end.
Enforce that no release proceeds without QA sign-off.
Help triage bugs and prioritize fixes alongside QA.

Process & Documentation

Enforce documentation standards across all roles (dev docs, design docs, test docs).
Maintain project boards.
Ensure requirements are captured and testable before development starts.

Stakeholder Communication

Act as the single point of contact between you and the IT team.
Provide status updates and escalate risks early.

Continuous Improvement

Identify bottlenecks in workflows—especially between dev, QA, and coordination.
Suggest process improvements.
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to you.
Works closely with:
IT Assistant (Project Coordinator) on task tracking
QA on release readiness and bug triage
All IT developers & designers on delivery
Ideal Profile
Experience leading IT software development teams (mobile + web) with QA processes.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and quality gate discipline.
Excellent client communication and expectation management.
Ability to enforce processes without micromanaging.
Familiarity with documentation best practices across IT dev, design, and testing.
Project-to-Role Mapping Framework
