What you’ll do

  • Deliver outstanding technical support to users via help desk channels, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems across various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Manage computer networking tasks, including VPN setup and firewall configurations to maintain secure connections.
  • Provide desktop support for both hardware and software inquiries, enhancing user experience.
  • Utilize tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira for ticket management and tracking resolutions.
  • Assist in the maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of all systems.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and users to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Basic qualifications

  • seeking a Korean-speaking IT Technical Support Specialist to join our Plano, TX team. This position provides technical support to internal staff and coordinates with Korean and English-speaking teams across global offices. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining system functionality, and ensuring a smooth technology experience for all users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Communicate effectively in both Korean and English with internal users and vendors
  • Manage and resolve support tickets via systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
  • Configure and maintain user accounts, devices, and security permissions
  • Support onboarding processes and IT setup for new employees
  • Collaborate with global IT, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure system compliance and uptime
  • Document procedures and solutions for recurring issues

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal)
  • 5+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking basics, and remote support tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a global or Korean corporate environment
  • Familiarity with Samsung systems or similar enterprise IT platforms
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified
  • Experience with MDM solutions, VPNs, or Microsoft 365 administration

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $48,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
