Hanson Properties is a dynamic real-estate firm operating in Dubai and the UAE, specializing in property sales, leasing, and management. As our operations grow, we are seeking an IT Specialist who will underpin our technology infrastructure, support our teams, and enable our business to run smoothly and securely in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure: servers, networks, cloud services, workstations, and mobile devices.
• Provide technical support to staff (agents, admin, and management) for hardware, software, connectivity, and collaboration tools.
• Set up, configure, and maintain user accounts, email systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), permissions, and access controls.
• Implement and manage cyber-security measures (firewalls, antivirus, backups, disaster recovery, data protection) suitable for the real-estate sector.
• Monitor system performance, perform audits, health-checks, update software/firmware, optimize operations.
• Liaise with vendors, service providers, and external IT partners to ensure service levels and timely maintenance/upgrades.
• Keep accurate IT asset inventory (hardware, software licenses, mobile devices), track procurement, installation, and disposal.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation: system configurations, network diagrams, user guides, support procedures.
• Train and support non-technical users (staff and agents) to use software, tools, and systems efficiently.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their workflow, propose technology solutions that support property-listing, CRM, client-interaction, and operations.
• Stay abreast of new technology trends, recommend improvements, and ensure the firm remains competitive and efficient from an IT perspective.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent training/experience).
• Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) as an IT Specialist, IT Support Engineer, or similar role — real-estate or property-management industry experience is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with Windows and/or macOS environments, network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and mobile device management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure/AWS) and remote access solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to diagnose hardware/software/network issues, and deliver timely resolutions.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data-protection measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: able to explain technical issues to non-technical users, collaborate across teams.
• Organised with good documentation skills, multi-tasking capability, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving real-estate environment.
• Professional appearance, reliability, strong work ethic, proactive attitude.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or additional languages are advantageous.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Cisco CCNA, or equivalent would be a plus.
