who can demystify the ITIL framework for adult learners. You will teach best practices for aligning IT services with business needs—covering the
Service Value System (SVS)
, the
Four Dimensions Model
, and the
34 ITIL practices
.
If you have led ITIL foundation bootcamps, designed process workflows for a live organization, and can explain "Problem vs. Incident" in five different ways, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities

Instruction:
Deliver engaging training sessions (virtual or in-person) for ITIL 4 Foundation, and potentially intermediate levels (Create, Deliver & Support; Drive Stakeholder Value).

Curriculum Design:
Build slide decks, case studies, process flow exercises, and mock exams aligned with AXELOS/PeopleCert learning objectives.

Real-World Application:
Use real-world scenarios (e.g., a failed software deployment, a major incident) to illustrate CSI, Change Enablement, and Service Desk best practices.

Assessment & Coaching:
Grade assignments, run practice exams, provide remediation for students struggling with concepts like "Service Request Management vs. Incident Management."

Process Mapping:
Guide students through creating basic process workflows (Visio/Lucidchart) for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management.
Required Qualifications
-
ITIL Certification:
Active
ITIL 4 Foundation
required. ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP) or Strategic Leader (SL) strongly preferred.

Teaching Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching ITIL/ITSM to professionals (corporate training, university, bootcamp, or adult education).

Operational Knowledge:
Familiarity with
ITSM tools
(ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, or Cherwell) to demonstrate real workflows.

Exam Prep:
Proven track record of helping students pass ITIL 4 Foundation certification exams.
Preferred Qualifications

ITIL 4 Foundation
Accredited Trainer
status (PeopleCert).

Prior experience in an
IT Service Desk, NOC, or IT Manager
role before becoming a teacher.

Comfortable teaching
DevOps, Agile Service Management
, or
SIAM
(Service Integration and Management) as complementary topics.

Experience with
virtual whiteboarding
(Miro, Mural) and interactive polling (Mentimeter, Kahoot).
