Role Description

The IVF Counsellor will support the IVF Consultant in managing patient history, counselling couples, coordinating investigations, and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the IVF journey. The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, medical understanding, and the ability to guide patients through complex treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Take detailed patient history and prepare case files before IVF doctor consultation.
• Explain IVF/IUI process, treatment plan, timelines, and provide basic emotional counselling.
• Coordinate all investigations, scans, semen analysis, and follow-up appointments.
• Assist the IVF doctor during consultations by organizing reports and updating notes.
• Guide patients through each step of the IVF cycle (stimulation, injections, scans, procedures).
• Educate patients on medication usage and daily instructions as per doctor guidelines.
• Maintain IVF cycle sheets, consent forms, and all documentation accurately.
• Provide daily follow-up to ongoing IVF/IUI patients and address routine queries.
• Coordinate with nursing, embryology, OT, and billing teams for smooth patient flow.
• Provide financial counselling — explain package details, expected costs, add-ons, and help patients understand their financial planning for IVF (without negotiation).
• Ensure clear communication, confidentiality, and high-quality patient experience.

Requirements

• BAMS/BHMS/BEMS degre
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IVF or infertility setups
• Strong communication skills
• Good understanding of reproductive health, infertility treatments, and IVF workflow.
• Empathetic, patient-centric approach with a calm temperament.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
