Patient Counselor / Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients courteously, ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
• Explain diagnosis, treatment plans, surgical procedures, and associated costs as advised by the doctor.
• Counsel patients on pre- and post-operative care for eye surgeries (e.g., cataract, LASIK, retina, etc.).
• Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, and support staff for seamless patient flow.
• Guide patients regarding insurance, payment plans, and financing options where applicable.
• Follow up with patients for surgery confirmations and post-surgery reviews.
• Maintain patient counselling records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
• Support hospital marketing and patient education initiatives.
• Handle queries, concerns, and feedback from patients with empathy and professionalism.
