IWS Engineer

The IWS Engineer is responsible for supporting and sustaining the Integrated Work System (IWS) deployment across the factory. The role focuses on driving phase progression, ensuring active participation and integration of pillars, and deploying Run to Target (RTT) methodology effectively. Acting as a key enabler and supporter of the IWS principles - Zero Loss, 100% Employee Ownership, and One Team - the IWS Engineer ensures alignment between strategy, culture, and execution. The position holds ownership of local standards within DMS, SWP, and IWS tools, guaranteeing their consistent application and continuous improvement across all departments. The factory is also responsible for Digital features of IWS which are SDM and digital boards and is the power user.

Through the “Learn-Do-Teach” approach, the IWS Engineer supports building the capability, strengthens engagement, and sustains the organization to accelerate the factory’s journey toward operational excellence and a culture of total ownership.

The position is based in Izmir and reports to the IWS Director.

Position:

The IWS Engineer role will be responsible for the following processes:


  • Be a pioneer and role model for the IWS “Culture Change” and “Mindset”, embedding the principles of Zero Loss, 100% Employee Ownership, and One Team in all behaviors, actions, and systems across the factory.
  • Support and sustain the factory’s IWS Phase Progression, ensuring active participation of all Pillars and effective deployment of Run to Target (RTT) methodology.
  • Train, coach, and develop the organization by the “Learn–Do–Teach” approach to build sustainable IWS capability and ensure alignment with global and local IWS standards.
  • Ensure full ownership and continuous improvement of DMS, SWP, and IWS Tools at the site, acting as the main contact for global and regional initiatives related to these standards.
  • Support IWS Master Plan execution, monitoring progress through effective PDCA cycles and supporting each department to achieve its Phase targets by creating necessary supporting reports in Power BI.
  • Ensure all digital tools related to IWS such as SDM and Digital boards work properly and support any kind of related incidents.

Requirements:

  • University degree (preferably) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical-Electronical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 1-3 years’ work experience as Process Lead, Maintenance Lead, Local Trainer positions and have ability to lead small work groups, communicate effectively and develop short-term (<90 day) plans.
  • Analytically minded, able to know SDM and analyses data.
  • Advanced level of English language.
  • Advanced knowledge/experience working with MS Office applications and SMART MDC Tools and Power BI.
  • Military service must be completed for male candidates.
