Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Maintain floor care through buffing, polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces remain pristine and safe
• Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance including light repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly
• Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, including cleaning large equipment or workspaces in manufacturing or warehouse environments
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules and supplies inventory to ensure consistent service delivery

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques
• Skilled in floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction
• Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures for safety and environmental compliance
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery including buffers, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in various environments
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly
