Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
• Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a professional appearance.
• Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as window washing, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfection to uphold health standards.
• Handle custodial supplies inventory management and ensure proper storage of cleaning materials.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed for facilities maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Support industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning projects as needed, including specialized cleaning tasks for large or complex spaces.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers.
• Ability to perform industrial or commercial cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing supplies and completing tasks thoroughly.
• Basic maintenance skills such as minor repairs or facility upkeep are a plus.
