Janitor/Cleaner

The MAC is currently looking for a full time facility cleaner to fill a day shift position. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for cleanliness and be able to work efficiently and effectively on their own without direct supervision. Candidates must be able to evaluate situations and establish satisfactory solutions when challenges present themselves. Preferably without the need of management's involvement. Candidates must speak, read, and write in the English language.

Individuals are to be honest and hard working with good communication skills.

This job routinely requires lifting in excess of 100lbs, and moving/ sliding of even heavier items, such as, bleachers, tables, benches, bags of garbage from 55 gallon cans, etc. Chemicals including but not limited to bleach, ammonia, vinegar, and other soaps and detergents are used on a daily basis along with aerosol cleaners.

Candidates would be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the interior of a 65,000sq/ft athletic complex containing bathrooms, soccer fields, basketball courts, offices, American Ninja course, common areas with tables/chairs, and a commercial kitchen.

Job details:

8hr workday (6am to 2am) with paid 30min lunch.

40hr work week with the potential of overtime.

$17/ hr starting pay

The right candidate can make up to $22/hr with bonuses.
