Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that our spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your efforts will directly contribute to the comfort and safety of staff, visitors, and clients alike. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Assist with facilities maintenance activities like minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention.
• Support in residential painting projects or touch-ups as needed to maintain the appearance of the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures.
• Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care such as buffing and waxing.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
