Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct detailed floor care procedures to maintain optimal appearance and safety standards
• Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitation with precision and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness of industrial or commercial spaces through specialized cleaning techniques tailored to each environment
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to support overall building operations
• Operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors
• Support additional porter responsibilities like moving supplies or furniture as needed for special projects or events
• Document completed tasks accurately in logs or reports to ensure accountability and ongoing facility standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning practices
• Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care and window washing,
• Familiarity with custodial equipment such as vacuums, and related tools
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and prolonged periods of walking or climbing ladders
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts

Job Type: Part-time
