Organizational Background

The SCV Senior Center is a 45-year-old non-profit organization that serves over 10,000 seniors each year. We focus on nutrition, support services, day services, and many other services/activities that enhance the quality of life for Seniors.

Responsibilities

Hands on position supporting the daily janitorial needs, restrooms, activity rooms, kitchen, lobby, family room, ADP, sometimes outdoor cleaning

Supporting various activities in the parking lot, activity rooms or other departments as assigned.

Prep, clean, disinfecting activity rooms after classes/activity

Able to work overtime for rentals or special events

Skills

Proven work experience as a janitor/cleaning

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Cleaning and disinfecting

Ability to work independently

Ability to work with multiple personalities and seniors

Multi-tasking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
