Full-service 24-hour restaurant and bar’s looking for janitors. Approx. 3 hours a day across 3 locations located close to each other in SE Portland. Most likely multiple positions to ensure daily coverage. A small company with reasonable rates would also be acceptable.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role is essential in upholding our standards of hygiene and presentation.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or event setups.
• Ensure all areas are well-organized and presentable at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
