Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 3+ years of professional experience and strong expertise in database design, development, and optimization within AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have solid backend development skills, deep knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, and experience building scalable, data-driven applications in cloud-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java
• Design and optimize database schemas , queries, indexes, and stored procedures
• Work extensively with AWS database services such as RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Aurora, and DynamoDB
• Ensure high performance, availability, and scalability of database systems
• Implement data integrity, backup, recovery, and security best practices
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices integrated with complex data layers
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues in production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and product stakeholders
• Contribute to system architecture, data modeling, and technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, indexing, and query optimization
• Experience working with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)
• Familiarity with data migration, replication, and performance tuning
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Proficiency with Git and build tools (Maven/Gradle)
