Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager – Lighting Industry (UAE Experience)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead and grow our business in the UAE lighting industry. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in both B2B sales and marketing within the lighting or electrical sector, a strong local network, and a proven track record of delivering results. This role will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding market presence, and positioning the brand effectively across target segments.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Management

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets across residential, commercial, and industrial lighting sectors.
  • Lead the sales team and ensure performance metrics and KPIs are met.
  • Identify new business opportunities through consultants, contractors, developers, and architects.
  • Manage key client relationships and negotiate high-value contracts.
  • Forecast sales performance and prepare periodic reports for senior management.

Marketing Strategy

  • Design and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee brand development, product positioning, and promotional campaigns (offline and digital).
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior in the UAE lighting market.
  • Manage company participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and B2B networking events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, design, operations) to align sales and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales and marketing in the lighting industry, with a minimum of 3 years in the UAE.
  • Proven success in managing sales teams and growing market share.
  • Strong understanding of lighting systems, technologies, and market applications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • UAE Driving License is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with lighting design tools like DIALux or Relux.
  • Knowledge of UAE construction codes, building regulations, and tendering process.
  • Experience working with government or semi-government clients.
  • Ability to manage CRM systems and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn campaigns).
