Joinery Draftsman – Interior & Fit-Out (Portfolio Required)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman with experience in interior fit-out projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings and coordinating with design, production, and site teams to ensure accurate execution of custom joinery works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery and millwork shop drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Develop production drawings for custom furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, counters, and wall paneling.
• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and project managers.
• Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and manufacturing standards.
• Support factory and installation teams with technical clarifications.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out drafting.
• Strong knowledge of joinery construction details and materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of SketchUp / Revit / 3ds Max is an advantage.
• Ability to read architectural and MEP drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-end residential or commercial fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with factory production processes.
• Knowledge of hardware fittings and finishing materials.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
