Joinery Draughtsman

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draughtsman to join our design and production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects. You will collaborate closely with the design team, project managers, and workshop staff to ensure precision, functionality, and manufacturability in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed 2D and 3D joinery shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or other CAD software.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and concepts to produce joinery details.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and production teams to resolve design issues and ensure seamless execution.
• Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and assembly drawings for production.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, client requirements, and project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits for measurements and design coordination as required.
• Maintain an organized archive of drawings and technical documentation.
