About the Role

IKSAA Interior Decoration LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Engineer to manage joinery works from drawing review and production coordination through to installation. The ideal candidate will have solid UAE experience in interior fit-out and custom joinery projects, with strong technical and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural and interior design drawings to extract joinery requirements.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, cutting lists, and material take-offs for joinery works.
• Generate accurate cutting lists to ensure efficient material utilization.
• Verify site measurements before starting production to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate site visits to confirm measurements and assess installation conditions.
• Ensure production teams receive final approved drawings with clear explanation of quantities and material finishes.
• Supervise and monitor production stages to ensure quality control throughout fabrication.
• Conduct inspections at different stages of work progress, not only at final completion.
• Coordinate with designers, consultants, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure joinery works comply with approved specifications, drawings, and project timelines.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware as per project requirements.
• Provide technical support during installation and resolve on-site issues.
• Assist in procurement planning by preparing material take-offs and coordinating delivery schedules.
• Support cost estimation by providing input on material quantities and labor requirements.
• Maintain updated records of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Wood Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of joinery production, shop drawings, and installation processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and preparation of detailed shop drawings.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, hardware, and fabrication techniques.
• Strong coordination skills between factory and site teams.
• High attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
