Joinery Factory Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Factory Supervisor to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery manufacturing and proven leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of craftsmen. The Joinery Factory Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production targets while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all activities within the joinery factory, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to joinery craftsmen to optimize their performance and skill development.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all factory personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as design, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of projects.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and facilities to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and supplies to support production requirements and minimize waste.
• Prepare production reports, analyze performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among factory staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education or certification in joinery or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working in joinery manufacturing, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery techniques, woodworking machinery, and materials.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor team members.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
