Workshop Manager

Velvety Couture is looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our couture production workshop. This role is ideal for someone who has prior leadership experience in managing tailors, cutters, and handwork teams, and thrives under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all workshop activities including tailoring, cutting, and handwork.
• Lead a team of skilled workers, ensuring productivity, discipline, and time management.
• Maintain workflow efficiency and ensure deadlines are met, especially during peak seasons.
• Monitor quality control throughout all stages of production.
• Collaborate with the design and production team to ensure smooth operations.
• Report daily progress, challenges, and manpower requirements to the production head.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workshop environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a fashion workshop or tailoring unit.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and quality standards.
