Joinery Procurement Officer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Procurement Officer to manage the procurement of materials, services, and logistics for joinery projects. The role is responsible for supplier management, cost control, purchase order processing, and coordination with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Responsibilities

· Source, evaluate, and manage local and international joinery suppliers

· Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and payment conditions

· Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance

· Control procurement and logistics costs in line with project budgets and KPIs

· Manage the full purchase order process in compliance with BOQs/BOMs

· Coordinate with QS, Production, Project, Site, and Finance teams

· Track procurement schedules and proactively manage risks and delays

· Reconcile supplier invoices and support accounts payable processes

· Coordinate local and international logistics, including customs clearance

· Prepare weekly procurement and supplier performance reports

Requirements

· Minimum 5 years’ procurement experience within a joinery environment

· Experience in the Dubai joinery supply chain preferred

· Alternatively, experience in construction management, contracting, or subcontracting

· Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

· Excellent numerical and cost control skills

· Procurement-related qualification preferred

· Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
