Procurement Manager (Steel & Construction Projects)

Job Overview

Atovee Steel Construction & Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and manage procurement activities for structural steel and construction projects across the UAE. The role is critical in ensuring timely sourcing of materials, cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and compliance with project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in steel procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation within the UAE construction market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and budgets.
• Manage procurement of structural steel, raw materials, fittings, consumables, and subcontracted services.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, contracts, and payment conditions to achieve cost efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with production, project, and finance teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor procurement schedules to meet project timelines and avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Manage purchase orders, supplier agreements, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
• Ensure ethical procurement practices and adherence to HSE and quality standards.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and forecasting reports for management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• 5+ years of UAE experience in procurement, preferably in structural steel or construction.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, steel markets, and construction procurement practices.
• Proven experience in vendor negotiation and contract management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Strong understanding of project budgets and cost control.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
