Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using schematics and technical drawings.
• Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues accurately.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to execute projects effectively.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding, or mechanical components.
• Supervise junior technicians or apprentices, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance history and scheduling future tasks.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification with proven electrical experience in residential, commercial, or manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and facilities maintenance procedures.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, and mechanical systems is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
• Mechanical knowledge related to facilities maintenance, manufacturing processes, or residential painting is a plus.
• Supervising experience or leadership skills that support team development and project management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while following safety protocols diligently.
