Journeyman Plumber

Location: Hudson, MA

Compensation: $32.00 – $48.00 / hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Status: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

About the Role

Dex by Terra is looking for a licensed Journeyperson Plumber with a strong background in construction to join our specialized team. This isn’t your average "clogged drain" service job—you will be an integral part of high-end builds, installing complex plumbing systems for luxury outdoor living spaces, commercial projects, and residential renovations.

Key Responsibilities

• System Installation: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and appliances in both residential and commercial environments.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret schematics and blueprints to plan layouts and ensure precise system installations.
• Technical Assembly: Perform pipe threading and welding as required; utilize hand and power tools with expert proficiency.
• Specialized Gas Work: Execute underground gas piping for outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and pool heaters (Experience preferred; will train the right candidate).
• Inspections & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine system inspections and diagnose complex mechanical issues effectively.
• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team (Electricians, Masons, and Carpenters) to meet project deadlines.
• Site Stewardship: Maintain an organized work environment and strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Valid Massachusetts Journeyperson Plumber’s License (Required).
• Technical Literacy: Ability to read schematics and perform basic math for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Driving: Valid Driver’s License with a clean history. (Commercial Driver’s License/CDL is a plus, but not mandatory).
• Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and working in various weather conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Proven background in construction plumbing rather than just service/repair.
• Experience with various piping materials (PVC, PEX, Copper, Iron).
• Familiarity with underground gas lines and specialized outdoor aquatic systems.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with high-end clientele.
