Jr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: CAD/CAM Engineer (SolidWorks)

Location: Umargaon

Job Description: Create and modify 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks for engineering components and assemblies. Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T and clear specifications. Develop and optimize CAM programs for CNC machining as per design requirements. Collaborate with the production team for design feasibility and process improvement. Support design validation and reverse engineering as required. Maintain organized documentation of drawings, models, and revisions. Assist in developing jigs, fixtures, and tooling designs for production enhancement.

Skills Required: Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory) for 3D modeling and drafting. Knowledge of CAM programming and CNC machining processes. Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and materials. Good communication and coordination skills with production and tool room teams. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.

Experience: 0–2 years in CAD/CAM design (freshers with SolidWorks knowledge may apply).Preferred: Experience in rubber, engineering components, or mold design. Exposure to manufacturing environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
