Jr. Network Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Network Analyst who has or has recently obtained their CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification. The ideal candidate is eager to further their career by pursuing a CCNP/CCIE certification and has a strong passion for networking. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in network automation and a desire to develop their skills in Terraform, Ansible, and Python.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Please note that this position requires travel approximately 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Work in a virtual environment setting up a Digital Twin environment of a production environment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network operation and minimal downtime.
• Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as firmware updates, configuration backups, and security patches.
• Collaborate with senior network engineers to develop and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Participate in network-related projects and initiatives, contributing to the planning, execution, and successful completion of tasks.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking.
• Travel to various client sites and company locations as required, approximately 50% of the time.

Qualifications:

• CCNA certification.
• Strong desire to pursue a CCNP certification and advance in the field of networking.
• Strong desire in network automation and a desire to develop their skills in Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for networking and technology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Willingness and ability to lift packages up to 50lbs.
