- Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating quotations to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with approved requisitions.
- Maintain and update supplier/vendor databases.
- Follow up with suppliers to track order status and ensure on-time delivery.
- Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules under supervision.
- Coordinate with internal departments to verify procurement requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations.
- Support in preparing procurement reports and documentation for management review.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to delivery, quality, or payments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
