Job Summary

The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of merchants by building strong relationships, conducting regular market visits, and ensuring business growth through cross-selling and up-selling Paymob’s products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular market and merchant visits to maintain strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to increase merchant engagement and transaction volume.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned merchants, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor merchants’ performance and provide regular updates to the line manager.
  • Support the onboarding process of new merchants and ensure smooth activation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, and Support) to ensure service excellence.
  • Stay up to date with Paymob’s products and market trends to provide merchants with relevant solutions.
  • Prepare and share regular reports on account activities, performance, and potential growth areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer relations (preferably in fintech, banking, or FMCG).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
