TCR Engineering: Where India Tests the Future

We don’t build bridges or refineries—we make sure they never fail. For over 50 years, TCR Engineering has been the invisible force behind India’s infrastructure, industrial resilience, and quality assurance. With clients like Reliance, Aramco, Tata, Indian Railways, and L&T, we are India's most trusted name in materials testing, advanced NDT, and asset integrity consulting.

We promote a flat, inclusive, and growth-driven work culture—no hierarchies, no “Sirs,” just mutual respect and real impact from Day One.

We are looking for a Junior Accountant who is meticulous, reliable, and proactive. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Tally, strong communication skills (especially over email), and can manage day-to-day accounting with clarity and consistency. You should be comfortable working in a structured environment, collaborating across departments, and handling financial data with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities in Tally Prime
  • Prepare and verify vouchers, ledgers, bank entries, and journal postings
  • Support monthly closing, GST filing, and TDS deductions
  • Assist with reconciliations (banks, vendors, inter-branch, etc.)
  • Maintain clean, well-documented financial records for audits
  • Prepare MIS reports and payment follow-up schedules
  • Professionally draft and respond to accounting-related emails with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • Coordinate with auditors and support compliance documentation
  • Assist in streamlining workflows, processes, and checklists

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3 years of accounting experience in a structured business environment
  • Strong proficiency in Tally Prime (or ERP 9)
  • Clear and professional email communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of accounting standards, taxation (GST/TDS), and reconciliations
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Commerce

Preferred Qualities

  • Strong attention to detail and zero-tolerance for errors
  • High sense of ownership and accountability in financial matters
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Organized in both digital and physical documentation
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and senior management
  • Well-versed in deadlines, audit trails, and internal controls
  • Familiarity with AI tools or finance automation software (e.g., ChatGPT, Power Automate, Google Sheets integrations) is a significant plus
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to better ways of working using technology

What Sets This Role Apart
