Job Title: Junior Accountant

Reporting To: Finance Manager
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years UAE experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably in the interior fit-out or construction industry. The candidate will work closely under the guidance of the Finance Manager and support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts in accordance with company policies and UAE regulations
• Record and verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, and journal entries
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and client reconciliations
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Support VAT compliance, including VAT return preparation, VAT reconciliation, and documentation
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents for audit and compliance purposes
• Coordinate with project teams for cost tracking and job costing
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and local accounting standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Prior experience in interior fit-out / construction industry is highly preferred
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, )
• Strong command of MS Excel and Microsoft Office tools
