Junior Accountant

Good day, we are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance department in Qatar. The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks and help ensure accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and Qatar regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly reports
• Record daily transactions and maintain general ledger entries
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with bank reconciliations
• Support VAT documentation and filing (if applicable)
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience (Qatar experience is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
