Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee project financial control, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain sound banking and reconciliation practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in the contracting sector and be proficient in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and trial balances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control project-related financial activities, including cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare and maintain accurate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and trial balances.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with cash flow management and ensure timely reporting of financial transactions.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate financial documentation and billing.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and compliance with UAE financial regulations.
• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and ensure data accuracy.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Candidates having Gulf experience in a similar role, is highly preferable.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo or ERP systems).
• Strong understanding of financial statements, bank reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
