Job specification:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, particularly Excel.

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelors degree in Commerce or in Accounting at least.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate records of vendor payments using QuickBooks.

- Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions.

- Assist the senior accountant with payroll processing.

- Ensure timely and accurate data entry and record-keeping.

- Assist in the preparations of financial statements.

- Provide general support to the finance team.

- Manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
