Junior Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks including preparing financial statements, maintaining and reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and assisting with audits and tax filings. The role also includes processing invoices, handling accounts payable/receivable, and supporting the senior accounting staff with various projects as needed.

MAIN REQUIREMENT:-

• Prepare daily invoices and accounting records accurately
• Review purchase orders, invoice bids and comparisons in invoices
• Ability to manage inventory and ensure that the inventory matches the accounts
• Recording daily financial transactions such as revenues and expenses Recording daily financial transactions such as revenues and expenses.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and analyze financial statements.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts and ensure the accuracy of transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure balance between bank and accounting records .

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting practices, principles, and financial reporting
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping
• Strong skills in financial statement preparation and reconciliation
• Attention to detail, accuracy in work, and excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus
• Relevant work experience in the accounting field.

Pay: AED2,300.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
