Junior Accountant – Real Estate Development

A growing real estate development company based in Al Barsha is looking to hire a proactive and detail-driven Junior Accountant to support its finance operations. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with UAE experience who is eager to build their career within the property development sector.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining financial accuracy, supporting VAT compliance, and coordinating with an external accounts team. The role requires a solid understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and UAE taxation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions and ledger updates
• Prepare and review invoices, receipts, and payment documentation
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Support VAT return preparation and ensure adherence to UAE tax regulations
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-ups
• Prepare financial summaries and management reports
• Maintain accurate entries in Zoho Books (or similar accounting software)
• Organize documentation for audits and financial reviews
• Liaise with outsourced accounting partners for reconciliations and reporting
• Assist management with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial planning

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA – Part Qualified) is an advantage
• 1–2 years of UAE-based accounting experience, preferably within real estate development
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and VAT compliance
• Experience with Zoho Books or similar ERP/accounting platforms
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
