Junior Accountant - Tagalog speaker

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will support the finance department in managing daily accounting tasks across multiple entities within the group. Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in Tagalog.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations for multiple companies within the group
• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies
• Support audits and provide required documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in contracting or multi-company environment)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Fluent in Tagalog (required) and English
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in UAE accounting practices
• Knowledge of VAT regulations in the UAE
• Ability to handle multiple company accounts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
