Junior Accounting Analyst

Ibex, for one of it's global client, is hiring for Junior Accounting Analyst will provide support across key areas of daily reporting, accounting, monthly reporting, and compliance. The position will report to the Senior Accountant and will require high level of integration within a small multidisciplinary team (US time).The ideal candidate possesses attention to detail, operational and accounting background and works proactively to drive results.

Timings: EST hours

Position Duties

• Prepare portfolio level daily reporting. Assist with updating daily tracker, charts, address any discrepancies and work with US team to address any issues.
• Monitor all financial metrics across portfolios, highlight any anomalies and work to minimize risks.
• Initiate wire requests and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare General ledger entries and maintain supporting workpapers.
• Work to ensure analysis of variances and unreconciled items together with requisite support and workpapers.
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting decks and ad hoc reporting.
• Maintain tracking of compliance items.
• Work with internal and external parties to ensure that any reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner.
• Proactive feedback regarding activities to improve the quality and processes of Financial.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience preferably in financial accounting/ analyst role.
• Be eager to apply your knowledge of financial accounting and analysis to everything that you do.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products.
• Financial services experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills.
• Inherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and be trustworthy.
• Innately demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to maintain integrity in a fast paced and challenging environment.
