Junior Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Junior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various architectural projects, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the design process, collaborating closely with senior architects and project teams to deliver innovative and high-quality design solutions.

Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with senior architects and project teams to develop architectural concepts and design proposals.

· Assist in the creation of designs, development drawings, and presentation materials using software and hand sketching techniques.

· Contribute to creative ideas and innovative solutions to design challenges, while adhering to project requirements and design guidelines.

· Assist in the development of construction documents, specifications, and material selections under the guidance of senior team members.

· Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of drawing sets and documentation throughout the design process.

· Create 3D models and renderings to visual design concepts and intent to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

· Coordinate with engineering and other stakeholders to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into architectural designs.

· Assist in conducting site visits, surveys, and assessments to gather information and assess projects constraints and opportunities.

· Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and design, and integrate them into project designs as appropriate.

· Seek mentorship and guidance from senior architects to enhance technical proficiency and design expertise.

Skills:
The following skills are required or considered advantageous for this role:
- Proficiency in CAD software for architectural drafting.
- Knowledge of project scheduling and management.
- Experience with 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper, and Bluebeam software.
- Ability to draft architectural plans accurately and efficiently.
- Understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Sketchup, Revit, and CAD for architectural design
- Experience in project management and drafting using software like Rhinoceros 3D and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with project scheduling and construction estimating
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients
- Knowledge of construction management and interior design principles
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and software tools in the field of architecture

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
