Junior Architect

I need a junior architect or interior designer or civil engineer who should know the architectural software to be a part of our Vellore branch

Design Development:

• Assist in the creation of conceptual designs and presentation materials.
• Support the development of schematic designs and detailed architectural plans.
• Participate in design review meetings and incorporate feedback into design revisions.

Construction Documentation:

• Prepare and modify architectural drawings using CAD and BIM software.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
• Ensure that designs comply with building codes, regulations, and company standards.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Assist in the coordination of design changes and updates with project teams.
• Participate in site visits and assist in the documentation of project progress.

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct research on building materials, construction techniques, and industry trends.
• Assist in the evaluation of design solutions and their environmental impact.

Client Interaction:

• Support the preparation of client presentations and proposals.
• Assist in responding to client inquiries and incorporating their feedback into design iterations.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Bachelor's or Diploma in Interior Design

Experience:

• 0-2 years of professional experience in architectural design (internships or co-op experience included).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Vray, Lumion and other relevant design software.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of building codes, standards, and construction practices.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Certifications:

• LEED accreditation or interest in sustainable design is a plus.
• Progress towards Architectural Registration Examination (ARE) is advantageous.
