Junior BBS Architect

The primary role of a junior architect is to support the project team while gaining practical experience necessary for professional licensure.

• Design & Documentation: Assist in developing architectural designs and creating detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Research & Compliance: Conduct preliminary research, analyze project requirements, and ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with senior architects, engineers (structural, mechanical, electrical), interior designers, and contractors to coordinate project details and integrate all design elements.
• Project Support: Prepare presentation materials for client meetings and proposals, manage project documentation, track revisions, and assist with cost estimates and timelines.
• Site Visits: Conduct site visits to measure existing conditions, monitor construction progress, ensure adherence to architectural plans, and help resolve any on-site issues or discrepancies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule Preparation: Prepare and verify detailed Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for various structural elements, including beams, columns, slabs, and footings, based on structural drawings and specifications.
• Material Optimization: Optimize steel usage to ensure material efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
• Coordination: Coordinate with the procurement, fabrication, and site execution teams to ensure the correct and timely delivery and placement of reinforcement bars.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits to verify that the actual reinforcement placement aligns with the BBS and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
