Junior Building Surveyor
What You'll Be Doing
As a Junior Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and managing various aspects of building projects, ensuring compliance with RICS, RERA, DM and quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in building condition surveys, technical due diligence, asset assessments and client interaction will contribute to the successful execution of diverse building projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough building condition surveys, assessing physical, and plant aspects of properties and assets.
- Oversee building renovation and maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with quality standards and client specifications
- Perform technical due diligence assessments, delivering insightful reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Engage with clients to understand specific needs, providing expert advice on building surveying matters.
- Stay updated on local regulations, building codes, and industry standards, ensuring projects adhere to legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, architects, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless project execution.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with building projects, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
- Generate detailed reports on building conditions and recommendations for clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in building surveying.
- RICS or similar professional accreditation (highly desirable).
- In-depth knowledge of building construction, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent ability in using the Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools used in building surveying.
- Familiarity with the local real estate market and regulations in Dubai is a plus.
