Summary:


Analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize operations, enhance financial performance, and drive strategic initiatives. Gather and interpret data to deliver insights and executive-ready presentations. (PowerPoint).


Duties and Responsibilities:


Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Analyse business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new initiatives.
  • Design and implement process automation and digital transformation strategies.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business efficiency and effectiveness.


Financial & Data Analysis

  • Analyse revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability trends to identify opportunities for growth and savings.
  • Recommend cost control and reduction measures and revenue enhancing opportunities.
  • Segmental Profitability analysis – Geographical & product wise for each business unit
  • Create dashboards and reports using BI tools to provide real-time insights into business performance.


Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT, finance, and senior management to ensure alignment of business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.
  • Support change management efforts by ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems.


System & Technology

  • Work with IT/Finance/Operations teams to enhance reporting capabilities and ensure seamless data flow across departments.
  • Assist in ERP and business intelligence tool implementations by defining system requirements and testing functionalities.
  • Support data migration, integration, and validation to ensure accuracy in reporting.


Risk Assessment & Compliance

  • Identify business risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct impact assessments for business decisions and investments.


Qualification:


Educational Background

Graduate or equivalent degree in the field of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, coupled with Information Systems, or a related field.

Related Work Experience

3+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or consulting.

Technical Qualification / Certification

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or finance industries is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and data analytics is preferred.

Technical/Functional Competency

  • Experience with financial modelling, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of process automation and digital transformation trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of KPIs, ROI, and performance measurement for applications
  • Experience in the logistics business will be an advantage
