Job Description: Junior Civil Engineer (Site Engineer)Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Civil Engineer (Site Engineer) to join our construction/real estate/infrastructure projects team. The role involves assisting in day-to-day site supervision, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of works, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision:

Monitor and oversee construction activities at the site to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

• Execution Support:

Assist in the planning and execution of civil works including foundations, structural, finishing, and utilities.

• Quality Control:

Inspect materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Report defects or deviations immediately.

• Measurement & Reporting:

Take daily measurements, maintain site records, prepare progress reports, and support billing/BOQ (Bill of Quantities) verification.

• Coordination:

Liaise with contractors, labor teams, architects, and consultants to resolve site-related issues.

• Safety Compliance:

Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed by site workers. Report hazards and enforce corrective measures.

• Documentation:

Maintain records of drawings, site instructions, material consumption, and inspection reports.

• Support Senior Engineers:

Assist project engineers/managers in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience (freshers with internships/projects may apply).
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and site management.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is a plus.

Work Environment

• Site-based role (may involve travel between multiple projects).

• Work schedule as per project timelines (including extended hours when required).

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹6,000.00 per month
