Junior Civil Estimation Engineer

Location: Murree Road Rawalpindi

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Morning Shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs from civil, structural, and site drawings.
• Support senior estimators in developing cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project scope.
• Collect and organize subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Assist in bid comparison, cost analysis, and estimate summaries.
• Maintain estimating spreadsheets, cost databases, and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams as required.
• Learn and apply US construction standards, codes, and estimating practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in civil estimation
• Exposure to USA-based construction projects is a plus.
• Basic understanding of civil works (concrete, site works, structural basics).
• Familiarity with estimating/take-off tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel (training can be provided).
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of US measurement units, CSI divisions, and BOQ formats.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and methods.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced estimating environment.
